For a few seconds we see the contours of a freighter  in the night. Fade out. A woman is looking for a  hand bag, a drink in the background. She leaves the  ship cabin, enters a passageway. A man exits from  the cabin opposite. Silently, they look at one an -  other. He follows her through the passageways and  stairways. She steps through a hatch onto the deck.  Fade out. The woman enters the cabin. The man is  already there. He has a piece of paper in his hand.  The view changes from the full shot-which shows  the cabin with bed, desk with drink, a sink in the  corner-to focus on one face and then the other, circles  both, follows the intense conversation. He gives  her a piece of paper. He goes. She shuts the door. Fade out. On the deck the woman goes through rows  of containers. She stands still, sees a piece of cloth,  discovers a label “Made in Singapore”, puts the  cloth in her pocket. The man follows, opens the  container. Cartons become visible. Two small doll's legs peep out. The man pushes them back in. He shuts the container, seals it. Fade out. [...]
